Friday updates

Saturday's girls' basketball playoff game will be carried by 106.5 FM The Train from Little Falls high school.

State wrestling updates are forthcoming.

**In his state opener, Walker Bents won by fall at 106 pounds! His time was 2:31. He advances to the state quarterfinals!!

At 120, Blaine Fischer won a 14-2 major decision; now he faces a junior who is 28-5 in the quarterfinals.

At 126, Canon Swanson (43-0) won a tech
 fall (21-6 in 5:16) to advance to the quarterfinals. He faces a 30-13 junior tonight.

At 132, Tyler Jensen lost an 11-1 major decision.

At 138, Tyler Bents won a 7-6 decision.

**Evening update: Tyler Jensen will get a shot at a win in the wrestlebacks later tonight.

Also, Blaine Fischer (7-0 decision) and Walker Bents (10-3 decision) both won their quarterfinal matches!! Walker defeated Coy Gunderson of K-M-S to advance to the state semis.

Canon Swanson won by fall (2:39) in his state quarterfinal match.

And Tyler Bents also won his quarterfinal round match; he earned a 6-3 decision to advance to the state semifinals.
