Hope in Morris

I have learned through a "very good source" that the Morris newspaper - which covers Morris and Hancock school, city and community news - will soon be under new ownership. The Fargo Forum, which was in the process of running the Morris newspaper nose first into the ground, is "skipping town"...and not a moment too soon. They have owned the Morris newspaper since the early 2000s.

The Morris newspaper weekly circulation has plummeted to around 2,000. For comparison, the Bonanza Valley Voice has around 1,600 weekly readers.

Further details will be withheld until the new owners make a public announcement.
