Another video production by the Voice

Here's another iMovie production by the Bonanza Valley Voice sports department. Just like the one released yesterday morning, this one includes footage from game five of the Section 5A finals.


The video starts with Brittany Berge's kill that gave the Jaguars an early 5-3 lead. In the middle of the clip, a long volley plays out with both teams duking it out. That volley ends with a Jaguar hitting error that resulted in a 7-7 tie score. The video ends with the Jaguars just about to begin their epic comeback late in the game.

The Jaguars trailed 12-7 coming out of Coach Waddell's final timeout of the set. After WHA's' next serve, the Jaguars got a huge, huge side out with a kill by Grace Illies. I had my camera zoomed in too far at the moment and missed her kill, but you can see player reaction to the play. That made the score 12-8. The Wolves earned a kill with a shot to the back line for a 13-8 lead. In response, B-B-E again earned a huge side out. This time it was Karissa Jones with the kill, and that made it 13-9. The odds were still very, very long at that point.
