(LIVE VIDEO) B-B-E football hosts Benson

The B-B-E Jaguars football team is attempting to avenge a 33-0 loss in last year's "Snow Bowl" that took place at Chiefs Field in Benson on October 11, 2019. 

The game is also being aired on Smooth Magic 107 FM of Glenwood.

Kickoff took place two minutes after seven...

*Update: the Jaguars biffed the opening kickoff, and Benson recovered a loose ball with just 18 yards to go on their first possession.

*Update: with 6:40 left in the first quarter, Benson has a 14-0 lead. They just scored on a 99-yard touchdown pass.

*Update: with 3:09 left in the first quarter, Benson has a 20-0 lead. They just scored on a seven-yard run.

*Update: with under seven minutes left in the second quarter, Benson has a 26-0 lead. The Braves scored with 10:58 left in the second quarter.

B-B-E currently has the ball inside the Benson 30-yard line with 6:52 left.

*Update: with 6:40 left in the first half, the Jaguars have scored to make it 26-6. Easton Hagen caught a 28-yard pass from Tanner Shelton for the touchdown.

*Update: with 21 seconds left in the second quarter, the Jaguars scored on a one-yard quarterback sneak by Tanner Shelton. The two-point conversion pass was incomplete. This makes the score Benson 34, B-B-E 12.

Halftime: Benson 42, B-B-E 12; the Braves scored on a 30-yard touchdown pass as time expired.

Unofficially in the first half, the Jaguars have 82 yards of offense through the air and 53 yards on the ground.

Next for the Jaguars: a road game against Upsala/Swanville Area for the Week Three match up of the season. The game will be played on Friday, October 23 at the Swanville football field. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. The USA Patriots are 1-1 this season after opening with a 44-42 overtime win at Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted and then losing at home on Thursday night (October 15) to Browerville. The Tigers won 48-30.
