Volleyball vs. the Cubs

The B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team won the first set tonight against Kimball Area. The final score was 25-16 in this Central Minnesota Conference match.

The Jaguars won game two  by a 25-16 score. They were tied early in the set at 7-7. 

In game three, the Jaguars opened up early leads of 3-0 and 6-1. 

*Final: B-B-E 25, Kimball Area 13.

As a team, the Jaguars had 13 total ace serves with a 93 percent serving percentage. Offensively, they hit at a 21.8 percent clip and were led by nine kills each from Karissa Jones and Kailey Fischer. Jones hit at a robust 35 percent clip with just one attack error.

With tonight's win, the Jaguars improve to 7-1 heading into next Tuesday's border battle match at Paynesville. Tonight I hope to take a look at the CMC standings and get that posted.
