Monday night results
The B-B-E Jaguars fastpitch team lost a well-played game by a 9-2 score to undefeated Browerville, who is now 10-0 overall. The Jaguars host Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City tomorrow in a Central Minnesota Conference game at 4:30 p.m.
At Kingery Field in Atwater, the B-B-E Jaguars baseball team lost 10-0 in six innings to the A-C-GC Falcons. The game was scoreless until the Falcons scored one run in the bottom of the fourth inning. A-C-GC (13-2, 9-2) then put up five runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth to end the game early. Josh Kingery fired a one-hitter, earning 16 strikeouts with no walks. B-B-E fell to 6-8 in the CMC and 8-8 overall.

I'm writing up an Elrosa Saints baseball story and this jumped out at me. How good was the pitching on Sunday? So good that each team had just one batter walked all game. In a grand total of 68 at bats in the nine-inning game, just two walks were issued.
