Thursday sports update

On Tuesday in a doubleheader at Watkins, the B-B-E Jaguars baseball team lost 12-4 and 8-4 to fall to 3-4 overall. Today the Jaguars host Royalton at Elrosa starting at 4 p.m., and they will play two games with the Royals.

The B-B-E Jaguars boys' golf team is at Kimball for a CMC meet today.

The B-B-E Jaguars fastpitch team has a CMC doubleheader at Royalton today.

I'll check out the Minnewaska/B-B-E girls' golf schedule and report back. *The M/B-B-E girls' golfers host a non-conference invitational tomorrow at the Minnewaska Golf Club starting at 11 a.m. Other schools included are Detroit Lakes, Kimball/Eden Valley-Watkins, Lac qui Parle Valley, Osakis, Pequot Lakes, Rogers and Staples-Motley.

Today was the National Day of Prayer. I find that important, although it snuck up on me and I was unable to give mention to it in the newspaper last week or this week.
