A huge, huge, HUGE wrestling win!
The B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team knocked off the No. 1-ranked team in Class 1A tonight. Making it even sweeter was that it happened on the opponent's home mats.
In a Central Minnesota Conference dual at Kimball Area, the Jaguars won 32-25 to remain undefeated in dual meets. Two wins by decisions by Carson Gilbert (9-7 score at 195) and Ethan Spanier (13-11 sudden victory overtime score at 220) handed the Jaguars the win.
*Update: in the second dual of the Kimball triangular, the Jaguars (5-0) thrashed Paynesville Area 62-8 to start the CMC schedule with a 2-0 mark.
*Another update: the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team got back on the winning track with a 53-35 section win at Upsala. The Jaguars, who are now 6-1 overall, led 29-16 at halftime. More to come in this week's Voice.
