Central Minnesota Conference champions

Now that I've had a little time to collect my thoughts, I realized the obvious after looking at the winter sports schedules: the B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team has earned the Central Minnesota Conference title! This is very, very exciting news. They are CMC champions outright after picking up two CMC wins last Thursday at the West Central Area quadrangular.

The Jaguars (14-0, 6-0 CMC) host Quad County and Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale/Parkers Prairie tomorrow night in a home triangular. Parents Night and Seniors Night will also be celebrated that night.

In the 2018-2019 season, the Jaguars went 5-1 in the CMC after a heartbreaking 39-37 loss to Pierz on January 15, 2019 that put them in second place. In the 2019-2020 season, the Jaguars won the CMC title for the first time in school history. It was their first team conference title since the 1996-1997 season. B-B-E repeated as CMC champions in the 2020-2021 season, so this year is their third CMC title in a row!
