Robotics makes playoffs!

The B-B-E Resistance Robotics team made history today at La Crosse, Wisconsin, as they were selected to advance to the playoffs of the North Star regional competition. They finished the regular matches in 17th place overall with a 7-6 record.

Their third playoff match starts at about 14:50 today. At this point of the playoffs, they are 1-1 with a win in the first playoff match and then a close 129-123 loss that sent them into the loser's bracket.

UPDATE: B-B-E's red alliance won 162-146 in their third playoff match of the regional tournament.

The fourth playoff match for B-B-E starts at about 15:21. Coach Reed Adrian just reported that B-B-E's team is being subbed out in the next round, which is allowed, but it is unclear what this means for B-B-E's playoff run. The official F.I.R.S.T. page still shows they will be in the 3:28 p.m. playoff loser's bracket match.

Updates from the region playoffs will be posted at the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper website at the following web article (short link): https://bit.ly/3nr1gAQ.

FINAL update from La Crosse: B-B-E's robotics team's alliance lost the tiebreaker to go to nationals in Houston, Texas. Their blue alliance lost by a final score of 144-130.
