Another especially busy weekend (VIDEO)

The Prayer and Party turnout in Elrosa is terrific! I'm sitting in the church parking lot just after 8 p.m. and seeing a huge level of activity. This is awesome!

In sports news...today's amateur baseball game between Elrosa and Lake Henry was postponed due to the threat of bad weather. On the upside: much of our Bonanza Valley area received substantial and highly needed rain. The city of Brooten got about one inch of rain yesterday and last night.

Coming this week: the Belgrade Economic Development Authority invites everyone from the surrounding area to their free concert in the park on Thursday, June 29. The band performing live that night at the Belgrade city park (South Highway 71) will be the Island Time Steel Drum Band. You can see more on the band at their website: islandtimesteeldrums.com. Also, the B-B-E Just For Kix dance team will be selling food during the concert to raise funds for team members who will perform at the ReliaQuest Bowl on January 1, 2024.
