It's GAME NIGHT in Jaguar Country! Homecoming 2023 (VIDEOS)

Tonight's the night! The final day and final event of a big, big week in Jaguar Country!! Our school has had a tremendous Homecoming week. Today's Pep Fest was outstanding. I can't say enough about how great our kids are here at B-B-E schools. We should all be proud.

Speaking of proud...I'm proud to see a great event coming in just an hour with the Homecoming Tailgating Party at the football stadium in Belgrade. The Belgrade Commercial Club is hosting this from 5:30 p.m. until kickoff. Free hot dogs and more, plus you can give a free will donation to the school's Backpack Attack program.

The feature event is the B-B-E Jaguars football team hosting Browerville for the program's 35th Homecoming game. The Tigers (3-2 overall) are an excellent football team who will pose numerous challenges for the Jaguars. We need to BRING IT!! Browerville lost at Murdock in Week Three by a score of 21-6 against the state-ranked Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints. Their offense averages 19.2 points per game, and they give up 18.8 points per game on defense. They are known as a team that plays UP for the best teams. Tonight will be a challenge.

The Jaguars trailed 6-0 at halftime against Upsala/Swanville Area, but they scored in that video posted above. Today at Upsala, the U/SA Patriots trailed 7-6 to visiting Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg at halftime. The game had a 2 p.m. kickoff. I'll hopefully get the final score posted shortly. More to come after I pack up my gear! The sun is out right now, what a sight that is for sore eyes!!
