Volleyball vs. Maple Lake is a wild one (VIDEOS)

The B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team managed to keep its undefeated winning streak in the Central Minnesota Conference intact with a five-set win over Maple Lake in the second of two Homecoming matches this week. Game scores last night were 25-18, 25-19, 18-25, 15-25...and then the Jaguars overcame what ailed them in the previous two sets and won 15-9 to improve to 16-4 overall and 5-0 in the CMC. As a team, they had a 21.6 percent clip and had a trio of Jaguars in double figures for kills: Brooklyn Fischer (17), Kacey Fischer (15) and Kenna Lieser (10).

Maple Lake falls to 12-12 overall and 1-4 in the CMC.

I'll get more posted later this morning after 11 a.m. The Jaguars host Brandon-Evansville (9-9) next Monday in a big sub-section matchup. The Chargers are currently ranked No. 4 in Sub-Section 6A-South.

The B-B-E Jaguars girls' tennis team saw their season conclude yesterday with a 7-0 loss at New London-Spicer in the Section 6A quarterfinals. For the top six players on the team, their season extends at least to next week with the Section 6A individual tournament, which takes place in Rogers.

Here's where I was last night...watching an incredible live performance by Nickelback at the FargoDome:

And here's one of Nickelback's most famous songs called 'Savin' Me' performed tonight at the FargoDome:
