Jaguars Boys Basketball Wins Big on Parents' Night at Home, 69-47 Drubbing over Kimball Area in CMC Play

The Jaguars move to 13-11 on the season while solidifying their chances of a top-four playoff seed in Sub-Section 6AA-East. After leading 31-20 at halftime, they gave up a 9-0 run to the Cubs to make it a 33-29 game. That was the closest the Cubs would get in the second half, though, as the Jaguars went up by as big as a 55-33 lead to win going away.

Other boys basketball scores:
**Wow! Melrose Area 72, Paynesville Area 33
**Wow! Maple Lake 55, Rockford 52
Eden Valley-Watkins 56, Holdingford 38
Osakis 46, Minnewaska Area 45

Melrose Area is now 14-10 on the season after their complete dismantling of Paynesville on the Dutchmen's home floor. Paynesville is 10-13 going into next week, and they will be 10-13 going into the sub-section seeding meeting next Wednesday night. Basically, there's no way they can catch the Jaguars for one of the top-four seeds. I don't want to say much more, for risk of jinxing our chances of a very good playoff seed going into the post-season.
