Jaguars Baseball trails 6-4 in top of the 7th, loses a 4-2 lead at Eden Valley-Watkins - Final score: 6-4 Loss

The Jaguars baseball team is on the verge of a huge upset, providing they can score at least two runs in the top of the 7th inning and keep their season alive.

At about 6:30 the 7th inning began.

The game is a Sub-Section 5A-West quarterfinal game.

Update at 7:09: Final score 6-4 loss. The Jaguars finish their season 6-15 overall, but bring back most of the team and the bulk of the pitching battery for what will be a highly anticipated 2010 season.

Other sub-section baseball results: Osakis lost by the 10-run rule at 2-seeded Maple Lake; Browerville/Eagle Valley defeated visiting Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 4-1.

Maple Lake 10, Osakis 0 (5 innings) - the Irish scored 5 runs in the second inning to take a 6-0 lead.
