Both Jaguars wrestlers at state end up going 0-2 today, Travis Winter loses 6-2 in consolation finals

Travis Winter lost 6-2 to Sean Huls of Pierz.

On Saturday, Winter will wrestle for 5th place in the 12pm session, facing Brady Wersinger of Benson.

In the 189-pound bracket, John Gusewelle of Sauk Centre put on one heckuva show against K-M-S's Joel Bauman. I didn't hear a final score, but Bauman won even though Gusewelle had him on his back at least once. The crowd erupted in wild applause when Gusewelle put the takedown on Bauman. It would have been a sight to see!
