Town team baseball is back!!!
Today in their 2021 season opener, the Elrosa Saints amateur baseball team won 6-4 at Greenwald. Payton VanBeck started on the mound for Elrosa, and Luke VanBeck was the closer and winning pitcher with six innings of work. They earned a combined 12 strikeouts against six hits. Kevin Kuefler went 3-for-4 with one RBI to lead Elrosa's nine-hit attack at the plate.
Next is a game on Saturday, May 1 at Spring Hill.
Today has been a very busy day with public events as well as a long, long list of activity behind the scenes. More and more fuel is being added to the fire that is the federal lawsuit against the Office of Governor Tim Walz and his minions who work under him at the Minnesota Department of Health. Just the tip of the iceberg was revealed on page seven of the April 22 issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice. (There's more. MUCH more. There's always more.) The more you learn, the more you'll see what type of war was waged by Governor Walz and his staff on children and families of children who participate in youth sports. "We will never back down. We will never forgive. And we will never forget."
I've done a light amount of updating to the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper website's B-B-E community calendar...you can always visit that page and get a glimpse of what's happening in our local area...the short link is: https://bit.ly/3vhUMm9.
