Sub-Section 5A-West playoff seedings are in!

The Sub-Section 5A-West playoff seedings are in, and the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team has earned the No. 1 seed out of 10 teams. The Jaguars are 21-4 overall to lead the pack that also includes state-ranked Nevis (23-3 overall) as the No. 2 seed. Nevis is also the defending sub-section champion. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley is the No. 3 seed with a 19-7 overall record. Pine River-Backus is 12-14 overall and the No. 4 seed. The Jaguars begin the playoffs at home on Thursday, March 2 at 7 p.m. against either Bertha-Hewitt or Long Prairie-Grey Eagle.
