State wrestling! ANOTHER state CHAMPION!!

Huge news out of St. Paul!

In the 170-pound Class 1A state title match, B-B-E junior Maximus Hanson earned a thrilling 3-1 decision against top-seeded Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted's Collin Boese! He wins gold!!! Hanson earned a takedown for the match-winning points with just 6 seconds left in the third period. Wow! For the second straight year, the B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team has a state champion. Boese finishes 39-4 overall, while Hanson finishes 48-1. What a season!!!

In Hanson's state title match, he trailed 1-0 going into the third period. With 1:34 left, Hanson earned an escape to tie it at 1-1.
