Batteries recharged...busy times ahead! Volleyball tonight (VIDEO)
After a full two-day break from blogging to recharge my system, it's time to get back in the saddle. Here we go!
In case you missed it...here's some video I wanted to get posted before it gets too old...things that got overlooked across the past couple of weeks.
Here's the full high school Homecoming coronation video from October 2:
B-B-E girls' tennis season comes to a close
In the Section 6A individual tournament, six members of the B-B-E Jaguars girls' tennis team competed in Rogers yesterday for the opening rounds. One doubles pair and a singles player earned first-round wins: doubles players Arlee Tensen and Grace Berndt and No. 2 singles player Hannah Hirman. We are so proud of their efforts and of the entire team for the season they had! A few weeks ago they were in the process of earning their third win when a rain storm came along and ended the match in a 2-2 tie against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Upsala-Swanville Area. Such are the breaks for high school teams that play outside. Overall, the fall 2023 season has featured wonderful weather. We've been really fortunate up until lately.
Tonight we have home volleyball on deck with the addition of the fun, heart-warming moments of Parents Night for that program. Our opponent is Royalton, a team that is still very much in the race for the Central Minnesota Conference title.
I haven't had a chance to get much else posted here, although I did get the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper website finally updated with fresh web articles. You can see them by clicking here: https://www.bonanzavalleyvoice.com. One web article features another video from the Color FUND Run held over a week ago. Time flies when you're having fun!!!
More to come after the volleyball match. I have to grab my cornet and join the pep band right now!
