FIFTH straight win, CMC schedule is a wrap (VIDEO)

The B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team successfully concluded their Central Minnesota Conference schedule with a 9-5 record and has five straight wins to their credit.

Tonight at Maple Lake, the Jaguars won 71-37 as 10 players found the scoring column. Sophomore Kacey Fischer had 14 points, and Brooklyn Fischer led the team with 18 points. Senior Faith Radermacher had one of her better games of the season with 12 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals.

The Irish fall to 1-23 overall and finish the CMC schedule 0-14.

Next: the Jaguars (15-10) have a short trip southwest for a border battle at Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg on Tuesday, February 20. The Fighting Saints have won three straight to hold a 19-6 overall record. They finished 14-2 in the Camden North Conference to win the title outright. Central MN Christian, who defeated our Jaguars in December, took second in the Camden North with 13-3 mark.

The B-B-E Class of 2032 girls' basketball players were embedded with the team before the game that night. On Saturday, the 4th graders compete in Holdingford!

Tomorrow will be a 300-mile day for me! I do not experience many of them. The day begins at Grove City, continues at Minneota and concludes in Holdingford. Without any extra errands or detours or jaunts out of my way, my route features 305 miles of driving throughout the day.
