Emergency sirens to blow as part of Severe Weather Awareness

The first siren goes off at 1:45 p.m. today in Brooten as part of the Severe Weather Awareness week in the U.S.

Today, the B-B-E Jaguars fastpitch team hosts Paynesville in the Central Minnesota Conference opener.

In case you missed church last Sunday, here's a video featuring part of worship at West Lake Johanna Lutheran church:

The video features the reading of the lesson, Psalm and Holy Gospel plus Pastor Jeanne's sermon. Her sermon begins at about the 5:30 mark of the video. West Lake Johanna church is located in Gilchrist Township. The building was built in 1904!

Thursday night update: the B-B-E Jaguars baseball team is holding a 5-0 lead in their season opener at Parkers Prairie. This is a battle of Top 10 teams in Class 1A!
