B-B-E Choir Concert on Monday Night

The combined choirs of the B-B-E High School sing "American Heroes (A Salute to the Armed Forces)", arr. by Carl Strommen.

That song concluded tonight's Fall Choir Concert, held at the B-B-E High School auditorium in front of an overflow crowd of parents and relatives.

High School music teacher Katy Westrom led the B-B-E Junior and Senior High Choirs during the Fall Choir Concert, held at the high school auditorium. Cookies and great fellowship followed, and a free will donation was taken on behalf of B-B-E's music program.

Former B-B-E Music teacher Maggie Harp was accompanist, along with Pennock-area youth who shared their tremendous violinist talents with the large crowd on hand.

More will be published on this event in next week's local newspapers. Also, for parents and relatives of any choir member, please take a chance beginning next week to view the photo album from this event, as I will be posting the 50+ photos I took of the concert on the Sauk Herald photo gallery.

If for some reason the above video clip does not play on your computer, please e-mail me at jaguarssports@mchsi.com and let me know. Thanks for your support of B-B-E high school activities. It's wonderful to be a part of a community that comes out in full force to support not only athletics, but also the Fine Arts.

Don't forget...Tuesday night is the volleyball sub-section semi-final match. Let's send a big statement to Section 5A and the rest of the state as we come out in droves to cheer on the Jaguars Volleyball team. The match begins at 7:00 at the Melrose Area High School, when the Jaguars play the Braham Bombers (16-8).
