Stearns County League baseball this weekend on Saturday & Sunday, Elrosa loses on Saturday 2-1 at Greenwald

Saturday afternoon's results:
At Roscoe, the host Rangers were trailing 17-0 in the top of the eighth inning to the visiting Lake Henry Lakers. Lake Henry 18, Roscoe 0, Final

At Greenwald, the host Cubs lost 2-1 to the Elrosa Saints. Both teams are now 1-3 on the season.

Spring Hill 3, Meire Grove 0, Final - Ryan Klaphake pitched for the Grovers

St.Martin 4, Richmond 2, Final - Nathan Schlangen had a solo Home Run in the 7th inning

New Munich 3, Farming 2, Final

Result from Friday night at Ray Weber Field in St.Martin: St.Martin 6, New Munich 3, the Martins' Sam Rothstein hit a 3-run Home Run in the 7th inning for the winning margin - It was New Munich's first loss of the season.

No word on any other games.

The New Munich at Meire Grove game, originally scheduled for April 26th, will be played at Meire Grove on Saturday, June 6th, at 1:30PM. The Greenwald at Spring Hill game, originally scheduled for April 26th, will be played at Spring Hill on Saturday, June 20th, at 1:30PM.

The All-Star Meeting will be on Sunday, May 31st, at 7:30PM at the Silver Spur Saloon in Saint Martin. Each team may nominate five players, with one of the five being nominated as a pitcher.

New Ulm 4, New London-Spicer 1 - Section 3AA fastpitch result

Late results from Friday:
In Section 5A baseball... Upsala/Swanville Area beat Holdingford 12-3. Royalton beat Onamia 14-0 in five innings.

Browerville/Eagle Valley (10-10) will face top-seeded Eden Valley-Watkins (16-3) in the semi-finals on Tuesday at 5pm at Joe Faber Field in St.Cloud. Maple Lake (15-5) plays USA (13-5) at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Faber in the other semi.

In Section 6AA fastpitch...The Paynesville Bulldogs ended an outstanding season with an 11-1, six-inning loss to Rocori. The Spartans, who were Central Lakes Conference champions, improve to 18-5 while the Bulldogs finish their season 17-6.
