Jaguars' fastpitch falls in 10-inning heartbreaker to Pierz 6-4 - Jaguars' baseball loses 8-7 at Pierz in 10 innings

The Jaguars' fastpitch team lost to visiting Pierz today in a Central Minnesota Conference game. They are now 2-4 in the CMC heading into Thursday's double-header at Kimball Area.

The Jaguars led 4-1 after five innings, but the Pioneers (2-5, 1-4 CMC) earned their first CMC victory this year when they scored three runs in the top of the sixth and then two more in the top of the 10th.

The Jaguars' baseball team had a disappointing return trip from Pierz tonight, as they lost to the host Pioneers 8-7 in a CMC game. Just as the fastpitch game turned out, this one also went to 10 full innings. Pierz improved to 3-1 in the CMC and 5-2 overall, while the Jaguars are now 2-4 in the CMC and 3-5 overall.
