Jaguars are in a battle as expected with HLWW

(Below) The Jaguars huddle up right before tip off...they came out on fire tonight against the Lakers in a bruising rivalry game!
Not letting up one bit in their quest to continue an incredible home-floor and conference winning streak, the Jaguars boys' basketball team shot out of the gates tonight with an impressive 12-0 start to the game. It took only 2 minutes and 23 seconds off of the clock to put up that score. In the first few minutes, they were virtually unstoppable in the paint. That was not a huge surprise, as they held a size advantage along the front line against a smaller Lakers team.
The game tightened up quite a bit, however, as HL-W-W began displaying their outstanding discipline, passing and speed; they turned the game into a track meet and were flying up and down the court equaling the speed of the Jaguars.

Halftime: B-B-E 42, HL-W-W 34. The Lakers trailed by at least 13 points a couple times in the early stages of the first half, then cut it to two points and finally one point as the game wore on.

Final: Jaguars 78, Lakers 67...with the game ending at 9:15. It was a battle all the way to the end. Connor Goodwin finished with 25 points and 15 rebounds. Quite a day at the office! As a team, the Jaguars shot a terrific 23-of-39 from two-point range.

Action from the second half...with under 90 seconds to go, Brian Goodwin drains two free throws to make it 75-61...

The game was aired on 106.5 FM the Train...below is part of a post-game interview between Bill Dean and Kirby Montbriand...
