One run loss in fastpitch

The B-B-E Jaguars fastpitch team was Oh-So-Close to earning a win against neighboring rival Melrose Area on Tuesday in a non-conference home game. The Jaguars and Dutchmen were locked in a 6-6 tie after five innings. Melrose earned the game-winning run in the top of the sixth inning for a 7-6 win.

At Sunburg yesterday, the B-B-E Jaguars baseball team lost 14-5 to undefeated Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg. They are 8-10 overall heading into the final regular season game, which is tomorrow (Thursday) at Hancock.
