Good luck to the Jaguar wrestlers at NL-S, girls' basketball is home

...and tomorrow, the B-B-E Dazzlers dance team competes at Yellow Medicine East in Granite Falls.

Tonight the Jaguars girls' basketball team hosts Kimball Area in a Central Minnesota Conference game. They look to get a little revenge with the Cubs after they dropped the conference opener in Kimball 38-33.

The Jaguar wrestlers are at a tough tournament in New London beginning at 3:30pm today.

Here's 2011 B-B-E graduate Kevin Kuefler hauling down a rebound for the Central Lakes College Raiders men's basketball team this season...

Thursday night: Holdingford vs. B-B-E girls' basketball at the high school. (By the way, it's supposed to start raining in western Stearns County at about 6:00pm tonight)

Friday night: Kimball Area vs. B-B-E boys' basketball at the elementary school, along with the B-B-E Dazzlers dance team performing at halftime. *Also, the B-B-E wrestling team competes at the Paynesville Tournament.

Next Monday, the Dazzlers compete at Melrose.

Saturday: B-B-E Dazzlers @ Rocori for a dance invitational that begins with the National Anthem at 10:55am...then the Kick competition starting at 11, with the Jazz competition at 1:15pm and awards at about 2:30pm...at Rocori, the Dazzlers perform in the varsity kick division, which begins after the 7-team JV Kick division takes place. In the varsity kick division, the Dazzlers are listed 4th out of 9 teams. My guess is the Dazzlers perform at approximately 11:55am;

Also Saturday: the 5-6 grade boys' basketball competes at  the K-M-S tournament in Kerkhoven. (FYI - anyone attending, K-M-S asks not to bring coolers into the school, as concessions are provided during the tournament.) *Below, the K-M-S brackets for the 6th grade tournament and 5th grade tournament.

B-B-E Dazzlers perform in 17th annual Alexandria dance team invite

Members of the B-B-E Dazzlers are shown in action during the Alexandria dance meet today.

Stay tuned for more coverage from the boys' basketball game later today. It will be aired on 106.5 FM the Train.

**Update: out of 18 teams in their division, the Dazzlers placed 16th. One of their senior captains was missing on the dance floor due to an injury, so the team had to juggle the line up and routine. They fielded a very young squad with only two seniors. Their showing did not dampen their spirits, and they are very excited about Monday's home dance meet at the high school starting at 6:00pm.

The B-B-E Dazzlers dance team is competing at the Alexandria Cardinal Dance Invitational this Saturday at Jefferson High School.

The Dazzlers high kick squad's scheduled time in the Class A division is approximately 11:40am or a little after. Fans are reminded to get there early and get a seat well before the scheduled time, since the doors are locked during all performances and open briefly inbetween. The high kick team is scheduled third-to-last in their group, and the break is scheduled at 12:10 p.m. after the conclusion of the Class A high kick competition.

B-B-E Dazzlers 11th at Alexandria invite - Parents' Night is Tuesday

The B-B-E Dazzlers dance team edged Lakeview of Cottonwood, MACCRAY and United Clay Becker from north central Minnesota at the 16th annual Alexandria dance invitational.

United Clay Becker is a coop dance team program including Hawley and Lake Park-Audubon schools. They are a fellow member of Section 4A with the Dazzlers for post-season competition.

On Tuesday night this week, the Dazzlers host Parents' Night at the high school at 7 p.m. It will take place between the girls' basketball JV and varsity games against Eden Valley-Watkins.

The next competition for the Dazzlers: a short trip to Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City high school in Grove City this Saturday, Jan. 14.

Following that, the Dazzlers will travel to NL-S on Jan. 21.
