- Speaking of guns, the B-B-E Clay Trap team is competing in the Class 6A state tournament today in Alexandria. A total of 42 B-B-E trapshooting students will be shooting starting at 11:30 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
It looks like the wind may be a small factor (16 mph. wind in the forecast), but thank goodness the rain is now pushed back to after 2 p.m.!! Last night it appeared that scattered thunderstorms would take place throughout the morning and afternoon in Alexandria.
The month of June is jam-packed with activities. Today, don't miss the second annual Curd Fest at Redhead Creamery of rural Brooten. It has been heavily advertised in recent Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper issues. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and promises to provide an exciting and educational afternoon for your family to take in! They are terrific at helping educate the public about dairy farming and agriculture.
