HL-W-W leads Jaguar girls at halftime - Jaguar boys triple up Holdingford
Epic fail...the score from the boys' game posted at Minnesota-scores.net.
It's 41-24 advantage Lakers at the break tonight, with the Jaguars girls' basketball team hosting conference-leading Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted. In the preliminary game of the night, the Jaguars B-squad girls won a thriller by five points over the Lakers.
It was not a pretty game for Husker fans at Holdingford, where the Jaguar boys' basketball team picked up a 79-25 win in Central Minnesota Conference action. They led 49-19 at halftime. Now 16-0 overall, the Jaguars host New London-Spicer in a rivalry battle on Thursday night. That game will be aired on 106.5 FM The Train with Bill Dean and Don Leukam providing play-by-play coverage.Holdingford fell to 3-13 overall and 2-5 in the CMC; the score on Minnesota-scores.net is incorrect, as they show B-B-E losing 65-57 for some reason! (It was fixed at about 11:30pm.)
Senior post Connor Goodwin drained 19 points against the Huskers tonight before hitting the pine and watching the reserves play out the end of the game...
