More scenes from Saturday night's section semi-final win for the Jaguars - plus scouting A-C-GC

The Jaguars played some great smash-mouth football on Saturday night. Here, Ben Borgerding plows his way ahead for a few yards at Lester Prairie.
After some scouting on Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City, here is one item I came up with. When you follow the link, you'll be directed to a rural Minnesota prep sports blog that beats mine hands down. It's outstanding.
If you want to fast forward to the notes about A-C-GC, go right to the bottom to read two sports reporters' views on the Falcons' game with St.Agnes.
Follow this other link to read about A-C-GC's loss to Yellow Medicine East, back on October 1st when the Falcons were riding high at 4-1 and ranked #9 in Class A: http://myprepsplus.ourvarsity.com/schools/school-article-profile.php?Schools=65&Article_ID=2045
The Falcons are led by Mitch Tauer, their senior quarterback. He rushed for 266 yards (career high) at Montevideo on October 8. (A crazy amount of yardage for a quarterback) Read about that game here: http://myprepsplus.ourvarsity.com/schools/school-article-profile.php?Article_ID=2091&Schools=|65|
By following this link, you'll load up a video of Mitch Tauer being interviewed by one of the Litchfield Independent newspaper's reporters...you have to click on the video to get the control panel to show, then click play: http://myprepsplus.ourvarsity.com/schools/school-video-profile.php?School_ID=65&Video_ID=6589&Gallery_ID=2728
Fun fact #1: the Jaguars' 41-6 win on Saturday night marks the second-biggest margin of victory for a B-B-E football team. The best was a 41-0 win over Kimball Area in the 1997 playoff opener. The 35 point margin of victory ranks just above the 53-19 win over Ortonville in the 2006 playoff opener.
Fun fact #2: the combined regular season record of the regular season opponents who defeated Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity in 2010 is 30-2.
This Jaguars sports playoff update is brought to you by the Larry Rice for State Senate District 13 campaign.
